Fraternal Order of Eagles

The Fraternal Order of Eagles was established in 1898 and has grown to become a family of nearly 700,000 members across the U.S. and Canada. The organization operates over 1,400 locations (Aeries) where members gather for social events and charitable fundraising. The Eagles are known as "People Helping People," with a commitment to donating 100% of the approximately $10 million they raise annually directly to individuals and communities in need. The organization has influenced major social policy changes including the creation of Mother's Day, Social Security, Medicare, and Operation Eagle, and operates the F.O.E. Diabetes Research Center.
