Funeral home · Houston, TX
Bradshaw-Carter Memorial & Funeral Services is a Houston funeral home with an on-site crematory, offering burial, cremation, and veteran services. Founded in 2003 by Ronald Bradshaw and Michael "Tripp" Carter, it operates in a red-brick Georgian-style mansion designed to serve one family at a time in a home-like setting.
Bradshaw-Carter Memorial & Funeral Services was co-founded in 2003 by Ronald Francis Bradshaw, a former New York interior decorator whose work appeared in Architectural Digest and Vogue, and Michael "Tripp" Carter. The funeral home opened in March 2004 in a red-bricked, Georgian-style mansion designed to operate as a true home, serving one family at a time. Co-founder Ronald Bradshaw believed that beauty can soften sorrow and wanted to ensure that everyone, not just the city's elite, could experience an elevated goodbye experience. The home features an on-site crematory staffed by certified operators and maintains a philosophy of providing professionalism at the highest level while keeping funerals affordable. Bradshaw passed away from pancreatic cancer in June 2008, and Michael "Tripp" Carter continues to lead the operation. The staff includes decades of combined experience serving families from all walks of life, cultures, and faiths.

Ronald Francis Bradshaw
Co-Founder, Deceased 2008
Ronald Francis Bradshaw served his Funeral Director apprenticeship at Geo. H. Lewis and Sons in Houston before co-founding Bradshaw-Carter with his partner in 2003. For years prior, Bradshaw was one of New York's most respected interior decorators, with work regularly featured in Architectural Digest and Vogue. He believed a funeral home should be just that—a home, serving only one family at a time. The red-bricked, Georgian-style Bradshaw-Carter, which opened in March 2004, looks like a baronial mansion. Bradshaw-Carter believed that beauty can soften sorrow and Bradshaw's plan was to ensure everyone, not just the city's elite, could experience the ultimate goodbye experience. Bradshaw was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in June 2007 and passed in June 2008.
