Yes. Since 1963, the Catholic Church has allowed cremations, provided that the cremated remains are then buried in a grave, crypt, or niche. The scattering or burial of partial cremated remains is not permitted.
Can you make payments on a burial space?
Yes. A payment arrangement can be scheduled on any type of burial space.
Do the cemeteries have scheduled flower removal dates?
No. At Catholic Cemeteries, flowers are left on your loved ones burial sites as long as they are within our rules and regulations regarding decorations. Funeral flowers are removed after 3 days.
Is music allowed?
No. Unfortunately, live or recorded music is not allowed at our funeral services.
Are funeral services available on Saturday and Sunday?
No. Funeral services are only performed Monday through Friday.
What types of decorations are allowed on a gravesite?
Two bouquets per grave. Potted plants (for a period of 10 days after Easter Sunday, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Memorial Day, and Christmas).
What types of decorations are prohibited?
Glass jars, cans, votive lights, toys, balloons, pinwheels, pictures, and knick-knacks.
