San Diego Memorial Society

The Society has been helping San Diego residents since 1958. Members pay a one-time $65 membership fee and receive a membership card. Pre-negotiated pricing with 11 participating mortuaries guarantees members the lowest prices available. Members can pay in advance to lock in pricing or wait until the time of need. Membership is open to all, and can even be obtained after a death occurs.

Members save approximately $200 to $800 on simple cremations and much more on burial plans. Members receive an information packet to help with planning ahead, which includes a booklet to fill out and keep in a safe place. Benefits may extend to traveling members through over 100 sister organizations nationwide (though not all operate the same way).
