Saint Bruno Catholic Church

Saint Bruno Catholic Church has served the San Bruno community since 1908, when Rev. James Grant began construction of the first church building on a lot donated by the Silva family. The parish became independent in 1912 under Rev. William J. Cantwell and constructed a new modern Mission-style church that opened on Christmas Eve 1959. The parish has a long history of community service and currently operates with a mission of forming "ministerial communities in San Bruno," offering bilingual masses, religious education programs for children (CCD grades 1-7 and Confirmation grades 8-12), and adult RCIA classes. The church maintains an active parish life with multiple ministry groups and serves Filipino, Tongan, Fijian, and Latino communities.
