  In 2002, when his grandmother passed away suddenly, Robert received a calling from God to enter the funeral home industry. By faith and with his family by his side, he opened the first Perez Family Funeral Home in Camarillo, California in 2006. He has successfully served thousands of families dealing with the loss of a loved one. Robert carefully selected a team of professionals who share his mission. He plays an active role in the community and serves as a Board Member for Moorpark Unified School District as well as President of the Rudy Perez Memorial Foundation. He has been married to his wife, Pauline, 20+ years and they have four amazing children.

  Operations Manager and Family Counselor

  She understands the importance of family and has been by her brother, Robert Perez's side since the funeral home was established. Renee brings years of industry knowledge and expertise to the team. She assists with the day-to-day operations and ensures compliance at their multiple locations. Additionally, she brings strong leadership, support and training to the site and its staff. Renee's ability to provide exceptional service, counsel and comfort while assisting grieving families with funeral planning is her strong suit. She has been married to her husband, John, for over 30 years and has three successful children.

  Rayline follows in her father's footsteps with a deep passion for helping families navigate the difficult journey of loss. Her compassionate nature, combined with her strong leadership skills, ensures that every family she assists receives the care, guidance, and respect they deserve. An Honor graduate of Moorpark High School, Rayline has been crowned both Miss Moorpark and Miss Simi Valley, reflecting her commitment to her community. She is passionate about giving back, frequently volunteering and dedicating time to her family's nonprofit organization, The Rudy Perez Jr. Memorial Foundation.

  Joab helps families navigate the most challenging times, offering comfort and personalized support in funeral planning. As Funeral Director, he oversees every detail of services—from body preparation and visitations to ceremonies, burials, and cremations. As Consulate Manager, he expertly manages all consulate-related matters, ensuring compliance with regulations. Fluent in English and Spanish, Joab brings a strong background in customer service. His journey with PFFH began after excelling in the banking industry. Beyond his professional role, Joab finds joy in the great outdoors, golfing, and capturing life's precious moments through photography.

  Christopher brings warmth, expertise, and unwavering compassion to Perez Family Funeral Home. With six years of experience in the funeral industry, he has guided countless families through difficult moments, providing comfort, counsel, and steadfast support. His strong background in project management and customer service allows him to connect with families on a personal level, easing their transition and helping honor their loved ones with dignity. Christopher is bilingual and deeply committed to serving diverse communities with sensitivity and understanding.

  Eric started working in the funeral industry over 30 years ago and his first employer was Ted Mayr Funeral Home in Ventura, California. He worked under the leadership of Mr. Charles Carroll and learned every aspect of the business. Eric is a dedicated professional and brings a wealth of industry knowledge and experience to our team. Just like Charles Carroll was once a mentor to him, Eric is now the teacher and mentor for our staff today. He is a man of faith and believes in the power of prayer.

  Family Counselor/Supervisor

  Jennifer is a dedicated professional serving as Family Counselor/Supervisor and providing compassionate support to families in their time of need. She plays a vital role in our operations, offering administrative leadership to our front office team and ensuring that families receive exceptional care through our After Care services. With a strong background in the medical industry in an administrative capacity, Jennifer brings invaluable expertise in client care and operations. Her previous experience at PFFH, combined with her medical knowledge and 'get-it-done' attitude, makes her an essential part of our team.

• Berenice Garibay

  Funeral Assistant

  Associate arts degree in Social Behavioral Science

  Berenice plays an important role in the day-to-day operations and is a versatile team member who can assist with administrative, funeral service, prep room/care center and removal tasks. She is the point person ensuring death certificates are completed and the resident expert using the California Electronic Death Registration System (EDRS). Berenice is bilingual, fluent in both English and Spanish languages. At a young age, she was interested in Forensic Pathology and decided to pursue work in the funeral industry as she believed it would provide insight. In 2019, Berenice joined the Perez Family as an Intern and has grown in her responsibilities, knowledge, skills and experience.
