The cemetery was established in 1882, the mortuary in 1959, and the mausoleum was added in 1971. The property is renowned for its historic Cecil E. Bryan-designed mausoleum, considered a masterpiece featuring a 180-foot Great Gallery with a hand-painted frescoed ceiling depicting the story of Christianity, stained glass windows by Judson Studios, and surfaces fashioned from more than 64 varieties of Italian marble. The grounds are open 365 days a year from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with professional funeral staff available 24 hours a day.
