Frequently asked questions

What is Aquamation?

Aquamation is cutting edge environmentally friendly cremation performed with water and an alkaline solution. It provides the same result of a traditional cremation with a dramatically lower carbon footprint.

What is a witness cremation?

A witness cremation offers 45 minutes in the chapel where participants gather to say goodbye in a culturally appropriate and sensitive way. At the conclusion, the deceased is taken into the crematorium and placed on an autoloader which safely and gently inserts the remains into the cremation chamber. This is important for many cultures including Buddhists and Hindus.

Can you help with sea scatterings?

Yes. We offer both non-witnessed scatterings as well as private memorial charters where you can charter a boat depending on the number of people attending and conduct a ceremony at sea for your loved one.

Do you offer shipping services?

Yes. We can facilitate domestic shipping of full body and ashes to any location in the United States, and we can assist with international shipping and repatriation of remains or ashes to another country. Please call our office for international shipping details.

Can you accommodate different religious traditions?

Yes. We have decades of experience providing cremation services in accordance with Hindu, Taoist, Buddhist, and many other religious traditions. Our team has built relationships with many other service providers to accommodate unique requests.
