Graduated from the Western School of Mortuary Practice in 1988 and has worked as a funeral director in Manitoba and British Columbia. Worked for the Victoria Police Department as a Reserve Constable from 1991 to 1994 and for the Westshore RCMP as an Auxiliary Constable from 1994 to 2002. Worked part-time for Westshore Parks & Recreation and at The Q Centre (Bear Mountain Arena) as lead security from 2004-2014. An avid golfer and member at Bear Mountain Golf Club. Has resided in the Westshore since 1994.
