Frazier-Mitchell Funeral Service was started in 1978 after Mr. Mitchell acquired it from the late Mrs. Bessie Mae Frazier. It is independently owned and operated by the Mitchell family (Mr. R.L. Mitchell, Sr., and the late Evelyn Banks Mitchell). The funeral home is dedicated to serving families with care and compassion, guided by the philosophy "it is better to make a little on a lot of services, than over-charge on a few." For over 40 years, the community has trusted Frazier-Mitchell with planning celebrations of lives lived, serving Anglo, Black, and Hispanic families with what the home describes as three "C's" of service. The home has grown consistently year after year and offers a wide range of services including pre-arrangements, pre-funded funerals, and burial insurance at affordable prices.
