Missing at the Mortuary: Escape Room & Tour

The Lamb Funeral Home was founded in 1929 by Charles F. Lamb and served families throughout Los Angeles for decades as a respected mortuary. This legacy shifted dramatically in the 1980s when David Sconce, the founder's great-grandson, took over operations. Under Sconce's leadership, the funeral home became the center of one of California's most shocking true crime cases, involving mass cremations, gold tooth extractions, black market organ sales, and suspicious deaths. The case was later featured in HBO's "The Mortician." Today, the building operates as an escape room and tour attraction, offering the public access to original rooms never before open to the public, including the embalming room, basement, freezer, ash palace, viewing room, and fireplace room, each containing artifacts from the funeral home's past.
