Depending on budget, Forest Lawn provides different types of packages. Some packages might include: graveside service, casket, service at church or chapel, embalming, visitation, memory folders, floral tribute, care and preparation, transportation, cemetery services like burial, and a personalized tablet.

Forest Lawn has six different cemetery locations, each with its own distinct personality featuring beautiful churches, patriotic courtyards, gardens, and vistas. There are seven mausoleums with beautiful statuaries and stained glass. A wide variety of memorial properties are available including ground, crypt, and family spaces; beautifully-landscaped single or double cemetery properties; private, semi-private gardens and walled courtyards; and a wide selection of cremation properties like indoor or outdoor wall or in-ground niches in granite or glass-front, as well as outdoor gardens with rock niches and tree bases.

Meeting in person with a caring and knowledgeable Memorial Counselor allows Forest Lawn to provide exemplary service and guide families in accurately completing documents and reviewing available products and services. For those unable to visit in person from another state, phone arrangements can be scheduled.

The arrangement meeting usually takes around 2.5 hours to properly give appropriate time to families and fully discuss final wishes, gather vital information, and learn about the loved one's life to guide the arrangement process.

Families choose everything needed to create a lasting memorial, including deciding between cremation or traditional burial, flowers, music, caskets, urns, and the final resting place. Families also select personalization options, cemetery property, schedule services and visitation, and complete legal paperwork.

Upon arrival, families are greeted by Guest Services representatives and offered light refreshments. They are guided to an arrangement room where they meet their Memorial Counselor, who arranges all details to create an appropriate remembrance.

Mortuary services include bringing a loved one into care, preparations like embalming, dressing and casketing, accompanying the decedent to scheduled services, and supervising final placement in the cemetery. Cemetery services include opening the burial space, placing the casket or urn into a vault/crypt/niche, recording the burial, and placing a meaningful tablet with the name and memorialization.

Forest Lawn offers many ways to pay tribute to a loved one. All parks contain beautiful chapels and spacious reception rooms. Families can choose from clergy that Forest Lawn works with, their own clergy, or specially trained celebrants who create a unique eulogy. If preferred, services can be held at a family's own place of worship with Forest Lawn coordinating details.

Forest Lawn's six memorial parks offer cemetery property options such as private or semi-private gardens, wall crypts, distinguished memorials, and locations in mausoleums. Memorial Counselors work closely with families to find a worthy home for their loved one.
