Products and services selected at pre-planning will be guaranteed at the time of passing. This takes care of most funeral expenses, reduces stress for loved ones, and allows you to share your final wishes.

Depending on budget, we provide different package types that may include: graveside service, casket, service at church or chapel, embalming, visitation, memory folders, floral tribute, care and preparation, transportation, cemetery services like burial, and personalized tablets.

We have six different cemetery locations with distinct personalities. We have seven mausoleums with beautiful statuaries and stained glass. We offer a variety of memorial properties including ground, crypt, and family spaces; beautifully-landscaped single or double cemetery properties; private and semi-private gardens and walled courtyards; and a wide selection of cremation properties like indoor or outdoor, wall or in-ground niches, granite or glass-front niches, outdoor gardens with rock niches and tree bases.

Bring clothing and undergarments for your loved one, a recent color photograph for identity confirmation, meaningful photographs for personalization products, copies of Healthcare Directive/Durable Power of Attorney, casket bearer information, death certificate count, personal information (SSN, birth date/state, parents' names and birthplaces), military discharge papers (DD-214), clergy name and place of worship, and healthcare directive if applicable.

The arrangement meeting usually takes around 2.5 hours. We gather vital information and learn about your loved one's life. We discuss traditional and cremation packages, personalization options, cemetery property choices, flowers, music, caskets, urns, and final resting place. We walk you through legal paperwork and finalize service scheduling.

Forest Lawn offers many ways to pay tribute. Our parks contain beautiful chapels and spacious reception rooms. You can choose from clergy we work with, your own clergy, or our trained celebrants who create unique eulogies. If you prefer services at your own place of worship, we can coordinate transportation, floral arrangements, and escort arrangements.

Meeting in person with a Memorial Counselor allows us to provide exemplary service, guide you in accurately completing documents, and review available products and services. If you reside out of state and cannot visit, we can schedule phone arrangements.

You will be greeted by Guest Services representatives and offered light refreshments. They will guide you to your arrangement room where you will meet your Memorial Counselor, who will arrange all details to create an appropriate remembrance for your loved one.

Mortuary services: bringing your loved one into our care, preparations like embalming and dressing, accompanying decedent to services, and supervising final placement. Cemetery services: opening the burial space, placing casket or urn into vault/crypt/niche, recording burial, and placing a tablet to mark the earth or crypt with memorialization.
