  Mr. Ferreira's career began at age fourteen working as a groundskeeper at Oaklawn Cemetery in Jacksonville. He graduated high school in 1989 and became a support staff employee at Arlington Funeral Home, then attended Miami Dade School of Mortuary Science while employed by Fred Hunter Funeral Homes. After completing his internship at Arlington Funeral Home in 1995, he moved to Macclenny to work at a local family-owned funeral home. In May 2002, at age 31, he purchased his first funeral home in Live Oak, renamed Suwannee Funeral Home. He has since expanded to multiple locations including Macclenny, Starke, Lake Butler, Jacksonville, Callahan, and Atlantic Beach. On July 22, 2016, he purchased Beaches Memorial Park and Funeral Home in Atlantic Beach. He is currently Vice President of the Independent Funeral Directors of Florida Association and serves as chairman of the Baker County Hospital Authority Board. He holds various professional licenses and is father to two daughters, Emma Elizabeth and Ellie Renee.

  Daniel Wheeler was born and raised in Jacksonville, FL, and graduated from Englewood High School in 2009. In May 2014, he graduated with his Associates of Science degree in Mortuary Science. He began working for Ferreira Funeral Services as an intern later that year and became a Florida Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer in December 2016. His grandfather's passing in 2008 inspired him to pursue funeral services. In August 2023, he married Lymari and they reside in Jacksonville. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, watching movies, reading, being outdoors, and napping.
