Yes. While Sinai can and often does provide these services themselves, they welcome congregational groups that wish to independently perform ritual cleansing (Taharah), dress the deceased in traditional burial shrouds (Tachrichim), and provide a spiritual guard (Shomer) who watches over the deceased. A Shomer can visit facilities during open hours or outside working hours if arrangements are made. Sinai also has Shomers available for a modest fee.

Families may choose an immediate burial (no service, no witness, no family present) or direct cremation (no service; off-site cremation occurs directly). Both options include the Basic Professional Service Fee and do not incur additional charges unless other services are requested. These selections do not include visitation, funeral service, merchandise, cash advance items, cemetery or crematory fees, or taxes.
