Drawdy-Rouse Cemetery was established in 1871 when the Drawdy family set aside two acres of their 77-acre homesteaded land for a family cemetery. In 1927, the Rouse family purchased adjoining land, and in 1986 the two cemeteries merged to create a four-acre cemetery. It is notable as the second oldest cemetery in Orange County, with over 765 interments dating back to 1871.
