No. Everything is handled online and by phone. You'll sign one form electronically, receive updates by text or call, and never need to come in. Arrangements are completed entirely remotely.

Absolutely. Direct cremation separates the cremation from the memorial — you're free to plan a service days, weeks, or even months later. Many families find this is actually more meaningful, because the service can be planned thoughtfully rather than rushed in the days after a loss.

Paperwork phase: 7–10 business days (California requires the death certificate to be signed by the physician and filed with the county before cremation can be scheduled). Cremation: 1–3 days after the permit is issued. Return of ashes: within 48 hours of the cremation date, by local hand-delivery in Orange County or in-state USPS Priority Mail. Nationwide shipping outside California is available for an additional charge.

Just one form: the cremation authorization. We'll email it to you — it can be signed electronically or printed, signed, and scanned back. We handle everything else: the death certificate, the cremation permit, county filings, and any required physician coordination.

Yes. We reach out to the physician on your family's behalf. You give us the doctor's name on the first call, and we take it from there — contacting their office, coordinating the required paperwork, and following up until the death certificate is signed.

As soon as you call us and we have what we need to begin, we arrange transportation. For hospital and facility transfers, timing is sometimes dictated by the facility's own release procedures — we coordinate directly with them on your behalf.

Yes. You'll hear from us at every major stage: when your loved one enters our care, when paperwork is moving forward, when the cremation is scheduled, and when the ashes are ready to return. You shouldn't have to call us for news. You'll have one counselor — the same person from your first call through the final delivery — reachable directly by phone or text.

Yes. Each cremation is carried out privately, one at a time. Your loved one is the only person in the cremation chamber during their cremation — no commingling with other individuals. Identification is confirmed at multiple points from intake through to the return of the ashes, following strict state regulations.
