About Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services

Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services was founded in 2011 by Debra Crotty, a licensed funeral director and embalmer since 1996, and her daughter Jarrah Crotty Gaskins, following Debra's decades of experience at prominent funeral homes including Dignity Memorial/SCI locations. The mother-daughter team opened the home with a mission to provide compassionate, personalized service to families. Debra, a longtime foster parent with five adopted children, has made a firm commitment that the funeral home will never profit from services for children, instead providing meaningful, personalized services at affordable cost. Jarrah has received state and national recognition, including being named Young Professional of the Year in Texas in 2020 and featured on the cover of National Funeral Director Magazine in 2018 as part of the only mother-daughter team in the United States to start their own funeral home. The home features a newly constructed beautiful facility and maintains bilingual staff to serve Spanish-speaking families.
