Cremation is the physical process of breaking down human remains by high temperature flame—1400 to 2100 degrees. A combustible cremation container is required. Remains are kept identified throughout the process, and it is illegal to cremate more than one human remains in a chamber at a time (unless written permission given). After cremation, larger fragments are physically reduced further, and cremated remains are placed into a polyurethane container or family-selected urn. They may then be buried at a cemetery, returned to family residence, or scattered at sea.

We use a highly trusted crematory at one of our local cemeteries that has performed well for us for many years.

We offer a variety of choice expected from a quality, 100% family-owned Chapel. Options include direct/immediate cremation, immediate cremation followed by memorial service, brief viewing followed by cremation, complete traditional funeral followed by cremation, and unique personalized services.

Yes. You may have a direct cremation without services, followed by a memorial service at any time. A memorial service is a service in memory without the body present, though the urn or cremated remains may be present. Personalization is ideal—families may bring photographs, momentos, personal objects, and favorite music. If you have a laptop with HDMI connection, we can project photos or videos. Alternatively, you may have a full traditional funeral with viewing and services, with cremation (instead of burial) occurring afterward. All cremated remains must be in a combustible cremation container; if using a casket, it must be made of wood or hardboard.
