Assembly of God Church

The Rosamond Assembly of God began in May 1954 with about a dozen people meeting in a rented building on 20th Street West. In 1955, the congregation purchased land at 2881 'C' Street and built the first church building in 1956 under Rev. George Brister's leadership. The church expanded over the decades with the construction of an annex (1960s), a new sanctuary dedicated in 1981, and Minosh Hall completed in 1999. Starting in the early 2000s, the church began recording and livestreaming services, significantly expanding this digital ministry during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. The church describes its mission as "empowering the saved to carry the gospel to the lost," with services livestreamed to the congregation and beyond.
