All California Cremation

In California, a cremation is authorized by the direct next-of-kin as listed in the health and safety code 7100. All California Cremation will work with you to file the death certificate and permit for cremation. The final disposition cannot occur without a certified permit. This process typically takes 7-10 business days for the death certificate to be filed and certified. Death certificates can be obtained from the county (typically 2-3 weeks wait time) or ordered through the funeral home. The permit is issued electronically once completed, and cremation can then be scheduled.

Yes. Like most funeral homes, we charge additional fees for loved ones over a particular weight: Under 300 lbs – Included; 300-400 lbs – $350; 400-500 lbs – $600; 500-600 lbs – $850. For individuals over 600 lbs, please call for pricing. We will always do our best to work with your family.
